
Today we drove through counties Connemara and Mayo. Lots of peat bogs like the one above, some with turf neatly cut and sitting in stacks. A beautiful drive, even with all the rain, which stopped briefly at times but usually just slowed down to a drizzle.
We stopped for a while at Connemara National Park, and did a little hike, where I found this happy hiker:
